Well, from my first booking as an actor (when I wrote on this site a year ago) – great things have happened. I’ve had more commercial bookings as well as my modeling taking off. I’ve had my little set backs here and there, getting frustrated with people saying a lot, but doing little. I would dwell on my success being in the hands of whomever, (agents, photographers, casting directors etc…) which was nonsense! I forgot the little – but great – success I had already obtained, that had been given to be my God, and the fact that I had the mindset to succeed all by my lonesome.

So, after reading the Power I realized I had let the so-called ‘wrong’ people you meet in this business make me see it as a deceitful industry, not as a great hobby that I get paid for! I started to just fill up with love again by remembering that when I’m on a set, that it’s a gift – an absolute joy – whether it is a photo shoot or acting gig!

I know I will soon land the great ad campaigns that everyone tells me I should be on, as well as the major motion Oscar-worthy films. I always work with the best talent, cast and crew that are so down to Earth!

I followed my intuition and took acting classes, to prefect my craft. I realized why I’d avoided taking them for so long. It was a fear of not being as brilliant as I felt I was, you know? And that comes from a lack of love in one’s self. It showed badly, like I would do a performance and before my teacher could critique me, I would beat myself up, being far too hard on it and she was hurt by that, so were others in my class. And it didn’t hit me until a few weeks ago, when my teacher said, “Before you walk into a role or an audition, use a word that will give you confidence for the role.” She said maybe, “Love,” and I was just thinking of that word and that is the one element that is the key to life.

My performances have changed completely because I put love behind it completely. I put love into the partner I’m conducting the scenes with and let them know that no matter what I’m here following their lead. Well I’m learning not to speak badly about some of the agents and just to thank them even when they don’t call because they are working out a huge big breakthrough role or ad campaign for me.

I love this life, even the flaws, faults set backs… It will be these things I will remember when I win all those darn Oscars… (LOL) I know with all my heart that this is my calling, I will do this for a full and abundant living very soon.
