About six months ago I was walking around Barnes and Nobles looking for cheap and interesting books to buy. I remember walking past a display stacked with copies of The Secret. I picked it up and looked it over, wanted to buy it, then put it back down when I saw the price. I thought it was too expensive when I could buy five reduced priced books for one copy of The Secret, though I knew that I wanted to get the book at some point or at least read it.

Christmas came and went and I soon learned that my mom had received a copy of The Secret. She had finished reading it and instructed me to read it as well. Only now did I realize that I had attracted the book to me through that one thought from six months ago, and I’m so happy that I had wanted to read it!
