I just started to read the book a couple of days ago. I’ve always thought that “thoughts were things” but I guess I never really believed it. Looking back over the last few years I can see where I have brought things into being by using The Secret unknowingly.

Yesterday when I left work I had plans of mowing my backyard. I live about 12 miles from work. When I left it began to rain. HARD. It was a total deluge. I told myself that this wasn’t possible. Then I told myself there was NO WAY it was raining at my house, that the ground was bone dry, that it wasn’t going to rain at my house until tomorrow. I sang “gray skies are gonna clear up, put on a happy face”. Two exits from my house the deluge just stopped, like a line drawn in the sky, one side was black and torrential, the other, blue skies and few clouds. The ground was dry, it hadn’t even sprinkled there! Oddly enough, my lawnmower wouldn’t start, lol., and this morning I woke up to rain. 🙂
