My story begins almost a year back to the day. I had lost a gold chain that my father used to wear and that was given to me by my mom when he was in the hospital in 2008. I continued wearing it after he passed away as a sign of his blessing. To say I was distraught is an understatement but I made up my mind that this chain was somewhere in the house and it will definitely appear when the moment is right.

Over the year, I had given it a thought time and again, and every time I thought of it I would reassure myself that it will appear.

I am currently going through a change in my life, I have been laid off and I am in the process of landing my perfect job (by the grace of God). Will be writing about that story soon.

Today is my dad’s death anniversary and as a Hindu we do a few rituals for the parted soul. In the morning after completing all the rituals and praying to dad asking him to be my guardian angel, I started reading “The Power”. I have been reading this book for a week or so and it has helped me steady my mind on the right things. Anyway as I was reading the book my eyes were drawn to a cabinet that holds my books. One section of the cabinet has clothes in it and I was drawn to that section. I started rummaging around and I just lifted some clothes and LO and BEHOLD, there was dad’s chain 🙂 🙂 I have looked in the cabinet many times and so has my maid. It was not there earlier. IT CAME TO ME EXACTLY ON MY DAD’s DEATH ANNIVERSARY.

I had complete faith and belief that it would come to me on at an appropriate moment. I guess my dad has just confirmed that he is guiding me and proved that my belief WORKS…
