The Secret has made one of my dreams come true. And getting The Secret book was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was told about The Secret by a friend, and I kinda forgot about it after some time. And suddenly, I begin to have the strong urge to read the book. I told my husband, and one day he just said, “Let’s go and get it”.

My brother and family lives in Brunei. Before I got married, I knew I could just pack my bags, get a plane ticket, and leave to see them. But when I got married, my hopes crushed in some way as my husband has a phobia of flying and we aren’t very well to do financially. He knew how much I wanted us to go there as I miss my brother and his family a lot. The thoughts of spending time with them makes my heart sing like a bird out in the sunshine!

After I read The Secret, I started applying it. I told myself, I will go to Brunei. I visualized my husband and I having the tickets in our hands, going to the airport, sitting in the plane, arriving in Brunei – the whole works. I believed it so strongly.

I then spoke to my husband, and to my surprise, he agreed. He said ok, let’s go. I didn’t want to waste another minute. I quickly tried looking around for air tickets etc, but each time I did, there would be something that came along and I got very upset. Then I read The Secret again, I even watched it! Only then I realized, what I was not doing. My passport was expired. How could everything fall in place, when I wasn’t prepared to travel? I got my passport renewed asap and the next thing I knew, air tickets were in our hands. And yes, we were at the airport, we took the flight, we spent the most memorable time with my brother, Shahreender, and his family, and to top it off, I had no problems with my husband’s phobia of flying. I told him to believe he can do it, plus I will be beside him. And he did it!
