FAQ - The Secret Super App (Android)

How do I install The Secret Super App?
If you have installed The Secret Super App using the Play Store function of your phone or tablet, the app will download and install automatically. If you have bought the app from the Google Play Store on a separate device or computer but on the same Google account, you won’t need to buy the app again – you simply need to select “reinstall” and it will download onto your phone/tablet.

I have installed the app, but I cannot see the icon.
Check that the icon is not on another page of your home-screen, often the device can scatter new apps across multiple home screens.

I accidentally deleted the app off my device, how do I restore it?
On your phone or tablet, go to the Google Play Store home page and tap on the icon with three horizontal lines which is located in the top left corner. Next, click on “My apps & games”. Next, select the “All” option. Here, you will find a list of all the apps that were pre-loaded or that you have downloaded free or purchased, whether or not these apps are still on your device. Scroll down the list to find The Secret Super App. The tab on the right will indicate that you have purchased the app previously so you can simply select it to re-install.

How do I restart the app from the beginning?
The easiest way to restart the app from the beginning is to delete the app from your device, and then go to the Google Play app, tap Menu (3 horizontal lines icon top left), then tap My apps and games, then tap Library, then tap The Secret Super App, and finally tap Install or Enable. The app will then reload and begin at the welcome screen.

What languages are supported by this app?
Available options for the language displayed within the app only include English at the present moment.

How do I get updates for the app?
Updates will be posted on the Google Play Store and will be updated on your device via the Auto-update function according to your device settings. Alternately, you can update manually within the Play Store once you log in on your device. From the Play Store home screen, select the icon with three horizontal lines, which is located in the top left corner. Next, click on “My apps & games”. Here you will find a list of all apps installed on your device. Scroll down to find The Secret Super App. On the right-hand side, you will see a button reading either “INSTALLED” or “UPDATE”. The INSTALLED button indicates that there is no new update available. The UPDATE button will indicate that there is an update available. Click on the button and the updated version will download to your device.

How do I gift The Secret Super App to a friend?
Currently, the Google Play Store does not offer a way to directly gift an app from one Google account to another outside the USA. The only way to gift apps on Android devices outside the USA is to purchase a gift card and allow the recipient to make their own choice of app or other digital content.

Within the USA, the process to gift an app from one Google account to another is as follows: 1. Open the Google Play Store. 2. Tap on the Menu icon, which is located on the upper left corner. 3. Tap on “Send Gift” and follow the onscreen instructions.

How do I access each of the practices within the app?
From the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, you can access each practice by simply clicking on the name of the practice.

How do I view text that is longer than the screen?
Swipe the screen up and down to scroll down pages that are longer than one screen.

Can I share any other parts of the app that don’t have a share button?
You can snapshot any page throughout the app using your device’s in-built screen capture function. The resulting screen capture will be saved to your pictures library, which you can then attach to social media, email or SMS posts.

Affirmations

How do I use affirmations?
Affirmations are positive statements that you make to create a positive mindset and change your life on a particular subject. In this daily practice, click on the Affirmations tab in the menu bar and read 10 unique affirmations inspired by The Secret to help create a positive mindset.

How do I read my daily affirmations?
The Secret Super App Affirmations practice provides 10 Affirmations for you to read each day. You will receive one Affirmation to a screen/page. Once you have completed reading each Affirmation, simply toggle to the next page using the NEXT arrow button in the bottom right of the footer. You can backtrack to the previous Affirmation by clicking the PREVIOUS arrow button at the bottom left of the footer. The App will alert you once you have completed 10 Affirmations.

Gratitude

What should I enter in the gratitude practice?
The Gratitude practice encourages you to record all the things in your life that you are grateful for and can be grateful for in your life every day. This can involve help from friends and family when you were in need, it can be good service, or gifts; It doesn’t even have to involve a financial outlay. It can be the sun rising in the morning or setting in the night. It can be anything you’ve experienced in the world, and you can record it here. Record what it is and the way it makes you feel.

How do I delete a post I have added into Gratitude?
You can delete a post once you have saved it by going back to the Gratitude home page and sliding the post in the list from right to left.

How do I edit a post I have added into Gratitude?
You can edit the item by selecting the post from the Gratitude home page and then change the text and selecting ‘Save’ in the top right corner.

Stories

How do I use the Stories feature?
The Secret Stories tab allows you to discover all the ways people have transformed all aspects of their lives from around the world using The Secret so you too can understand how to powerfully transform your life in the same way. In Stories tab, you can read any story by topic or recency. You can save stories you love so that you can read again later by selecting the bookmark icon in the top right corner of the story. You can also “like” the story using the heart icon and that will prompt us to provide you with similar stories that you will like. You can also share a story with your friends and family by selecting the share icon and selecting to send it using your favorite messenger apps.

How do I share my story?
Select the “Share My Story” button which takes you to a web form in which you can follow the prompts and fill in the fields along with your story and we will work to get your story posted in a short period of time.

Inspirations

Can I share Inspiration posts from The Secret Super App?
Yes. You can share a passage from Inspirations via the SHARE button at the bottom right of the post. You can share an Inspiration post through your favorite messenger service that you have loaded on your phone.

What should I include in my Desires list?
The Desires list invites you to consider your greatest desires – that is to say, the specific things you would have today if you could have anything you wanted. This is your opportunity to let your imagination run wild, so list anything you’ve always wanted but felt you could never have. Then once it comes into your life, tick it off so you can see how many things you’ve achieved or attained.

How do I delete a post I have added into my Desires list?
You can delete a post once you have saved it by going back to the Desires list and sliding the post in the list from right to left.

What should I include in my “What Do You Want” list?
You can toggle on or off as many items on the list that you want to attract into your life. By getting clear on the things you want to focus on, you also help us share wisdom with you that will help you manifest your desires.

Do I have to pay to use The Secret Super App?
No. The Secret Super App is free for all people around the world to use.

How do I learn more about The Secret and its principles?
The Secret is available as a book or DVD via the STORE. Alternatively, a number of useful tools and inspirational stories of lives transformed through living The Secret can be found on the website. You can also subscribe to The Secret Scrolls, periodic email messages from Rhonda Byrne, and News From The Secret team.
