The Dream Board That Came True.
Submitted by: Deanna Pavlovets
Las Vegas, NVI am a healthy twenty-six-year-old who has always believed in magic, miracles, and the wonder of life. I began to lose the natural zest for life in my early twenties when heavy responsibilities hit, stress to make ends meet, broken relationships, and illness began to take place in my life. This book combined with my own Christian faith in God and prayer, totally transformed my life.
My stepfather sent me the book “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne when I was twenty five years old. I began my journey to do all the practices each day and I watched my life begin to totally change. One practice that was the most powerful was ‘The Magic Dream Board’ and also the ‘Top 10 Desire List’. I can honestly say that over the time span of two years that I did these practices, the dreams that I wanted the most all came true!
For instance, I wrote down the exact qualities of the husband I wanted when at the time I was single. I had pictures of Oregon all over my dream board, along with a picture of a woman and man in wedding attire with snow falling around them which meant a Christmas wedding to me. I had a picture of a coffee shop in Portland, Oregon named “The DragonFly Coffee House”.
The man I met one year ago, who is now my husband, is from Portland, Oregon. He has all the qualities and character traits I listed. He loves God, goes on adventures with me, shares common values, is hard working, is loving and kind, makes me laugh, dances with me, and kisses me at random times. He took me to Portland, Oregon, where he just so happened to bring me to The Dragon Fly Coffee House! He had never seen my previous dream board and quite frankly, I forgot I even had this place on my board for two years. When I stumbled upon the coffee house, I felt tears swell up. I knew The Magic of gratitude had worked in my life.
I just got married to this man who is an amazing husband. Just like my picture, we had a Christmas themed wedding in December. It was magical.
One thing I will say is that The Magic didn’t send me what I asked for instantly or right away. I met many other men before my husband but I always looked at my dream board and list and if the person or opportunity wasn’t what I had asked for, I patiently waited and said no to other men and opportunities. I am so grateful that patience was key because all the while God and the Universe were working on sending me what I truly desired.
Another dream that came true is that I asked to be financially independent and to be able to retire young, travel the world, donate millions of dollars to philanthropical organizations and causes and stand for something that mattered. Now, I am being mentored and coached by multi-millionaires who became financially independent in their mid-twenties. They travel the world, donate millions to end sex trafficking in Las Vegas, NV, and my husband and I are both working with them to create big changes.
I will forever be so thankful for Rhonda, for writing this book, and for teaching me the power of gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope this story helps someone else who might just be wondering if their dreams are really going to happen. They absolutely will!
