A few years ago I was in college to become a graphic designer, and waiting tables. I was 23 and got sick without insurance. I went from one day being a healthy girl to near death, and nobody really even knew exactly what was causing it. I remember knowing without a doubt in my mind I was not going to die. They operated, and removed a third of my colon. After looking at the portion of colon removed they figured out what meds to put me on, and like magic I went from dying to sitting up in bed eating popsicles just two days later, and very much alive.

After spending a few months nursing myself back to health and having my colon reconnected, I decided it was time to live and turn my life around. I left school because I simply was not happy doing what I was doing. I enrolled in cosmetology school, bought a house (and don’t ask me how, it was magical! I am very happy to have it!), ended a relationship in which I was not in love, and started living.

One day at cosmetology school we were working on the chapter about running a salon. We had to write up a business plan and draw a layout for our dream salon. Mine was a sort of holistic vision, with a cafe (…not in most salons by the way), and an alternative, spa sort of feel. And I named it Bella.

Thanks to a series of events, I got a job in a salon with a cafe in it, an energy healer that comes twice a week, message and spa features, and what do you know… it is named Bella!

I had heard of quantum physics before, but had not seen The Secret. It was something I knew and wanted to believe in, but never truly took to heart. After seeing The Secret I finally understood what I had done! I knew what I could do, and I am changing the way I think. I am so thankful for everything I have received and know I am headed on the right path to a happy abundant future!
