Believing is Seeing

Rancho Cordova, CAI am a 57 year old grandmother nearing retirement after a lifetime of serving the people of the State of California.
After watching The Secret movie twice at one sitting, I decided I really, really wanted a vision board. So, I put on my sneakers and headed out for my favorite stores to collect the things I’d need to begin.
One of the items I was going to look for was a new graphics program in order to create reminders, photos, etc. I’d purchased a new computer in July 2007 and the new computer’s operating program was not compatible with a graphics program I really loved. It would not install and after working for hours, I finally gave up and uninstalled all of the program’s components from the new computer.
So, I picked up the corkboard, push pins, and other random items for my vision board then went about searching for the new graphics program. Each and every program I encountered was not compatible with my computer. So, really wanting to get busy on my vision board, I thought, “Certainly that new computer has some sort of graphics program. I’m not going to any more stores, I’m going home and getting started.” So that’s what I did.
After hanging the corkboard on the wall, I went to my new computer and began looking for a graphics program. I came across an icon for the old program I’d uninstalled last year, so I clicked on it and it opened right up! And it’s working just fine! I use my computer every day and that icon wasn’t there. I know I uninstalled it myself! But there it is, here it is, and I’m able to create all of the things I want which inspire me.
I was astounded to see the Secret in action within hours of watching the movie. I know I only have to ask and sometimes just that thought is enough. I can hardly wait to see what’s next.
