I knew about The Secret book for several years as it was right there in my bookshelf but I never read it. Then about 9 years back my only brother died and I was devastated. Then after sometime The Secret book came into my life. Since I loved reading books I began the reading The Secret like any other book. Initially I could not understand the concept behind the text written in it, so I finished reading and kept it aside. After a year or so I reread the book and this time I understood what message actually conveys.

Now I have read The Secret for not less than 4 times. As I read it each time, I was moved and got curious to read some of the other books, so I read The Power and Hero. I even bought The Secret To Money app for my android phone and I follow each task as prescribed in it. Without fail I  read the Daily Inspiration section and then I read My Desire list and say thank you. I have been writing in The Gratitude book since last year and have my wishes in picture form displayed on my almirah so that I can see them every day and pay my gratitude for having them.

There are many wishes that are scribbled every day in my Gratitude Intention page of my Gratitude Book but among them this one came so dramatically. I wished for a shining, white pebble as my ‘magic stone’. I wanted it and I had this special image in my mind so clear that the moment I saw it today, I jumped with total joy, just like a child.

I was at a five-star hotel in New Delhi for a meeting along with my boss. Since, the client was already in another meeting we decided to wait at the lobby of the hotel. While waiting, I saw this vase which had Orchid flower with water and my shining, white pebble! It was exactly the same size, colour and shine as the one on my Gratitude Intention page of my Gratitude Book!. I went to one of the staff at the front desk and requested “Can I have one of the pebbles from the vase, please?”. A few minutes later this house keeping staff person passed by and I also asked him to get me the pebble. He came back smiling and handed over my special, shining, white pebble! I said God bless you and thanked him from my heart. I wanted to jump with joy but I controlled my emotions!

I can’t thank Rhonda Byrne enough for bringing The Secret book into my life, encouraging me to follow my instinct and most importantly, to be positive. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I had bought The Magic a couple of months ago but I have not started reading it yet as I feared that I might not be able to follow the daily practices due to my busy schedule at work, as well as my extensive travels. But with today’s experience I shall now find a way to follow the 28 days The Magic practices very soon.
