My story begins in the Desert SW, where I moved in 2000, to “hopefully” have a great life with the “woman of my dreams”! I began to find it was a nightmare, and felt very sad and lonely, like I was in a relationship on my own! In June of 2007, I decided I had enough of my miserable relationship, and I moved out. I had brought my Mom with me and located her in a nice home about 2 miles from where my spouse and I were living. I moved in with my Mom, and as she has medical needs, I was there to help her and she was really happy to have me there to help .

As time went on I discovered “The Secret”, I purchased the book (read it twice), the DVD, and the CD. In August of 2007, I asked my Mom if she was happy living in the Desert SW. She told me she was miserable.

I had put up in my office-computer area a “Visualization Board”, much like the one John Assaraf talks about in “The Secret”. We found a home through Real Estate listings and saw a home we both loved very much. I contacted the Realtor, put our home up for sale, all the time looking at the picture of the home, of our dreams, which I had printed out and attached to our “Visualization Board”. I kept visualizing us walking up the driveway of our new home and going in to admire its beauty.

I was amazed that from September 15th to October 1st, we had sold our other home and moved into our new one, all within a few weeks, and the Real Estate market was at a low, builders were filing bankruptcy, mortgage companies along with banks were listing a huge amount of loans in “foreclosure”! All of this was going on, yet within a few weeks we had sold a home and purchased our “dream home”! Praise & Bless, God, the Universe and the teachings of The Secret for our new home.
