Listening to The SECRET on CD, Rhonda explains how you only need to ask once. If you order from a catalog, you don’t replace an order every hour, just to make sure the order arrived. You order ONE TIME.
Well, on Tuesday, I started thinking about my writing career and where it was going. After all these years as my longing for writing increased and increased, I never bought a personal computer. Which nowadays is critical if you are to be a successful writer. So, I declared that I wanted a laptop. I looked on the internet and saw pictures of a few of them and very deeply in my soul I declared, “I am thankful for my new laptop.” I really felt the feeling of receiving it.
To tell you the truth, I didn’t even knowingly think about it anymore after that point, but I have been longing for and always thinking about my writing.
On Saturday I took a flight to visit my mother for the weekend. As mothers usually do, she was filling up my suitcase with things to bring back home with me. While we were in her garage, she reaches behind a counter and pulls out a black vinyl case and nonchalantly retorts, “You want this old laptop?”
It was perfect. I can download the software I need and off to writing I go.
I asked once. I didn’t care to think about how it was going to happen. I just knew I wanted it, and I needed it fast. And voila, the universe in its mighty abundance provided, yet once more. It will continue to do so forever more!
