Manifested Tickets To A Sold-Out Concert!
Submitted by: Rebecca
Minneapolis, MNBeen practicing The Secret for months now. Finally feeling like it's gellin'!
Hello, all!
I am so excited to be posting my first manifestation story here, and I want to send a big thank you to Rhonda and to all of you who have written stories here that have inspired me over the past months!!
I have manifested things before, often small things that could be written off as a coincidence, but last week I experienced a quintessential manifestation like the ones I’ve read about: the kind where you let go, and the universe provides in a way that you never could have possibly constructed for yourself, even if you tried!
Ok, here’s my story:
Over the last few months, I have become a big fan of the band Cloud Cult. I had been going through some personal stuff, following The Secret, and suddenly the lyrics in their music just started resonating with me and seemed very relevant to the LOA. Then last week Monday, I find out that Cloud Cult is going to be performing in my city the following Saturday. The show had been sold out for weeks, but I just felt that I was supposed to be at their concert.
So I did everything I could think of to get myself to the show: On Monday, a local radio station was doing a promotion where you could submit your name into a drawing to win 2 free tickets. I contacted my friend, and we both entered our names, agreeing that if we won, we’d take each other. Neither of us won.
Then on Thursday, the same radio station was doing a free ticket giveaway between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. My friend and I both listened in at work. When they announced it, I called in on both my cell phone and my office phone. No dice. Then the DJ announced that Cloud Cult was also performing in a nearby city about 2.5 hours away on Friday night, and there were still tickets available for that. So I contacted my friend to see if she’d be up for making an impromptu trip to this other city immediately after work on Friday, see the show, and drive back the same night. She’s pretty spontaneous like I am, and she said she’d give it some consideration. However, on Friday morning, she texted me and said she just wasn’t feeling it. “Ok,” I think, “well, I’d put out this strong intention of going to the concert all week. I’m still going to assume that I get there, somehow. Who knows how, but I’ve done what I can, and now I’m leaving it up to the universe.”
So I go to work. While I’m there, I post something funny on Facebook, and a lot of people start commenting on it. One of the people who comments is this girl I’d met at a party almost a year ago. We had become Facebook friends at the party but hadn’t had any communication since. But because she commented on my post, it inspired me to send her a private message to invite her to an event I was going to that night, which our mutual acquaintance was also attending. She wrote back and said she couldn’t make it that night, but suggested that we get together that weekend. She said she would be working at her part-time job over the weekend, but that she could meet me before or after work.
The next day, I write her back to figure out a time to meet, and I happen to ask her what her part-time job is. As it happens, she works at 3 major music venues in town, including the one that Cloud Cult would be playing at that night! What are the odds, right? But of course with LOA, there are no coincidences. I ask her what her job at these theaters entails. “Do you get to go to the shows for free?” I ask. “Because if you get to go to the Cloud Cult show tonight, I am most envious!” Turns out she works in the box office, so she doesn’t usually get to attend the shows. Anyway, we continue messaging back and forth over the course of the day, making plans to get together for brunch the following day.
Then at 4:30 that afternoon, as I’m in the midst of messaging her about brunch, I get a message from her: “Do you want me to set up Cloud Cult tix for you? There are some right now I could grab for you if you call or message me!” Dude, what??? Apparently, a few tickets had just been given back to the box office and were available for all of about 30 seconds. Because she worked at the box office, she was the first one to see this. And because she knew I wanted to go, she immediately reserved the tickets for me! So I quickly called my friend to see if she was still up for going that night. She was. 3.5 hours later, we were there!!!
I was totally blown away by this manifestation because of all of the little pieces of the puzzle that had to come together perfectly in order for this to happen! For instance, even the party I went to a year ago where I met the girl who got me tickets: neither of us had any real reason to go to that party. We both barely knew the host, but we both decided to go anyway, without really knowing why. And when I had brunch with her the day after the concert, she admitted to me that she almost didn’t comment on my Facebook post at all, because we had only met the one time, and she didn’t know if I’d think it was weird!
Anyway, pretty cool experience. Hopefully I continue to gain momentum from here, and this is the springboard for bigger and better manifestations to come! I’m looking forward to coming back and sharing more stories about the “really big” stuff that’s in store for me! Thank you, Universe!!!
Sending you all lots of love and encouragement! Thanks for reading, and I hope this provides some inspiration. 🙂
