At the moment, I am a full time student at a University. Since I haven’t been able to work all year, I decided to spend my summer working.

I was recently hired by a marketing firm and have been applying for jobs left, right and centre. Frustrated that the company wasn’t calling me, I decided to take matters into my own hands and call them after the weekend to remind them to give me some promo work. I kept thinking to myself “call them monday, call them monday…”

Monday rolled around and the first thing I thought of that morning was to call the firm. A few hours later, I still hadn’t called them. As I was getting ready to go to the gym, I received a call from a number I didn’t recognize. Sure enough, it was the company offering me promo work as soon I was done exams. I was ecstatic (and a little freaked out).

Just proves that the more you think about something, the more it is drawn to you.
