Spreading The Secret!
Submitted by: Hannah
EnglandMy names is Hannah. I'm 17 years old. I was given the book 'The Secret' and 'The Secret To Teen Power' by my mother as we were both very spiritual and took a strong interest in the books.
My Names Hannah. I am 17 years old.
After reading and watching The Secret a while ago, I decided to put it to the test. I wanted to try The Secret on something simple such as a pair of Converse Trainers.
I was attending a festival on the weekend, therefore, I knew I only had 2 days to receive the shoes I was asking for. I remember showing my mam a picture of these shoes and said ‘I’m getting these shoes for the weekend by using The Secret”.
I felt excited however, I found it hard, as deep in my mind I was thinking “How am I going get these shoes? I have no money?” But I spent my time thinking about what the shoes look like, what they would feel like on my feet, visioning me trying them on in the shop, tying the shoelaces, etc. This changed my mind set completely as I started to believe I was actually getting them.
I never forgot the most important step of The Secret which is gratitude. I have a gratitude stone in my room which I use to help say thank you to the universe for what I have already received.
The next day, I went out to Newcastle with my mother. I had a good feeling as soon as I woke up, I instantly knew today was the day I was receiving the shoes.
I bought a scratch card and won £45 pound! The exact amount I needed to buy the converse!!!
The visions I was thinking of came to life! It was an amazing, overwhelming feeling which I will never forget.
To this day I tell everyone about The Secret and what you can achieve just by showing gratitude, asking the universe, believing and then receiving.
I am in the process of making a Secret charm bracelet that’s based on the book The Secret To Teen Power for my fashion assignment which everyone is intrigued by!
I will continue sharing The Secret with everyone as its such an amazing, uplifting book and film that I constantly rave about.
Thank you Rhonda.
