I am 24 years old and I have always been a very sensitive person. I am really good at helping others and providing positive advice, but when it comes to myself, I easily put myself down, think badly of myself, and blame myself.

For the past year, I have been reading “The Secret” nearly every day. Some days, I am really positive and have a great day, but other days, I let negative situations take over and forget about The Secret and the law of attraction for a while.

Recently, I have been feeling upset because my boyfriend has broken up with me, which has left me blaming myself. However, I soon realized that I was not the only one who made mistakes.

One day, I was sitting and thinking about everything that has gone wrong in my life, and all the things that are currently going wrong in my life when I suddenly realized how ungrateful I was being.

I then started to think about all the wonderful things The Secret has given me, and I realized how grateful I should really be.

In January, I received my own flat, which I had asked the Universe for. I was living with my family in an overcrowded space, and I desperately needed my own space. I applied for my own place just before Christmas. Usually, it can take a few years to receive a house or flat where I live, but I told the Universe where I wanted to live, and at the start of January, I was offered my flat and it was even in the area that I had asked for! My flat is amazing! I am beside my family, my friends come and visit me all the time, and I am so happy living with my cat. I didn’t have a lot of money to move in, but I received so much help from generous people, housing charities, and my family and friends. My flat has really come together thanks to all of the help I received. I love it!

Also, I have always wanted to be a veterinary nurse, but I always put myself down, telling myself that I am not smart enough. However, I have decided that I am going to do it, and I am going to succeed. I have just been accepted into college to study my higher qualifications for two years, and I know that after that, I will get into university and then qualify as a veterinary nurse.

I was feeling lost and asked the Universe to give me a job that I would love working with animals. And guess what?! I have just started a job working with animals, which I love. There is so much learning involved, and it is going to really help me with university. I am working on being a stronger person every day.
