I have read all three books. The Secret, The Power and The Magic. I’ve had success for awhile and then I would forget what I learned. I recently decided to pick up The Magic and re-read it again, because I just wanted to feel happier. It has helped me greatly. I finally have a simple, but exciting story to share.

I was on Day 17 of The Magic, practicing The Magic Check. I had done this before the first time I read it, but I had written my check for $10,000.00. This time I noticed while reading, that it said to start small so that when you receive it, you will gain confidence. Then you can write out a new check for a different amount. So, on Friday, I wrote out my magic check for $50.00. I visualized my name on the check, and pictured myself buying sandals for the summer with the extra money. I was excited and grateful. I had confidence in this amount.

Well, the very next day on Saturday, I had my family over for a party. Instead of a gift, my grandmother said, “I didn’t have time to get you anything, but here is a check.” It was for $50.00. I was just happy she came to my party so I did not notice at the time. An hour later, I realized it was exactly what I had asked the Universe for and said “THANK YOU!” silently in my mind.

I am so excited about this, because I realized that I could not manifest the $10,000.00 yet, because it felt like too much of a stretch. I will have to work up to that, but I gained more confidence and that was worth more than the $50.00 to me.
