My name is Angelina Zamora and I am originally from a small town in Texas called Wichita Falls. I always wanted to model and act since I was very young. Ever since high school I was very into Lowrider cars and “Lowrider Magazine”. Most of my male friends had centrefolds of the magazine on their walls and stacks of Lowrider Magazines at their houses. I too had the centrefolds on my walls and envisioned myself one day being on the cover and centrefold of that magazine. I would lay in my bed and stare at my walls visualizing myself in a photo shoot for the magazine, and then myself on the cover as well as a centrefold. I also pictured myself living in Los Angeles with a view of downtown outside of my window. I had postcards of the skyline of LA all over my walls as well.

Coming from a small town in TX with not much money, I literally had no idea how I was going to get to LA or how I was going to pay for a photo shoot to even get started in modelling, much less getting the cover of a national magazine.

I ended up finding out how to get free photo shoots to get started, and I posted some images on a modelling website and was contacted by photographers from the magazines I wanted to shoot with. I actually just submitted some images straight to the magazine and got called in from there. I was very blessed that it came so easily for me.

I moved to LA March 5th 2005. I got my first Lowrider cover July of 2006 which was a “Best of Radicals” special edition. However, I still wanted to be on the main original Lowrider Magazine. I got the cover for the original issue December 2006, and I was the first to have my name printed on the cover (as I wanted), as well as being on the centrefold backside poster simultaneously. There is always a different model on the centrefold than the cover model, however, I got both! I also had a cover pic on the Girls of Lowrider with a six page layout and article on me at the same time as the other magazine! I have since been on a few other national car and truck magazine covers.

It just goes to show that The Secret really does work! What is funny is all that visualizing I did was before I ever read the book, however, I did exactly what the book says. I really believed it would happen for me and I visualized often. I must also add that when doing a photo shoot, there are many poses to choose from and the image they chose for my Lowrider cover was the exact same pose I had imagined, and I didn’t even realize I had posed that way in the shoot! The centrefolds and postcards I had on my wall when I was in Texas served as my vision board!

I have supported myself solely with modelling and acting since I moved to LA…. and let me tell you, LA is not cheap! I have now accomplished what I wanted with modelling and I am now concentrating on my acting. I now have a movie in the works in which I will be playing the lead! Stay tuned because I know this is just the beginning!

I actually have many more stories about how The Secret has helped me, but that would be a book in itself! Just do and believe what the book/DVD says and you will get what you want!
