I have been thinking so much lately about my life and coming to the clear revelation that even though it has been challenging of late, I have been on a wild ride in which along the way I have gained, achieved and received what I asked of the Universe.

I wanted to work for myself and I wanted to give back to others. Through getting fired from a job where I was working for someone devious and less qualified than me, I got the fire to launch my own business and became an entrepreneur. It enabled me to do more volunteer work for Habitat For Humanity and other groups and to use my professional skills to support them.

I wanted to travel outside the USA, having been to live briefly in Central and South America and the Caribbean while doing humanitarian missions. Then I read The Secret and began watching the video daily, sometimes twice a day, while working from my home office. It made sense to me. I had no doubt. It jibed with my spiritual understanding and faith. Not only did I begin traveling, I have now been to 5 continents/regions and more than 20 countries. I have even been a long-term expatriate and currently live in both the USA and Europe.

Another thing I have wanted with all my heart is to create a legacy by writing a series of children’s books. Last year I met and befriended an artist who, it turns out, was a winner of a Palme d’Or (Cannes Film Festival) who wanted to illustrate a children’s book and I now am the proud author of  “Lori Leak Travels To Paris”, the first of many books about an intelligent, sassy, curious little girl.

There are other things I want with all my heart, and my wild ride, which is sometimes very challenging, is bringing me to all those things, I know. I do not always get things in my timing or the exact way I planned them to come but I do get them. I can see them coming. I see my life in brilliant technicolor.
