Hapily Married Ever After
Submitted by: Irene
Kenya, NairobiA married and proud mother of one, and happily enjoying my life and marriage in all aspects.
I must say The Secret has totally and completely changed my life for the best. I never thought I had so much power and that everything I wanted in life I had it all along.
To make the story short, I got married two and a half years ago. Life in marriage was so bad that I cursed the day I got married, as my husband had taken a complete 180 degrees turn from the man I knew. He changed after six months into my marriage. I would sit down and cry and just reflect and look back and always curse the day I said, “I do.” All I had were very negative thoughts about my husband and life in general, and kept wondering why I was so unlucky.
Then a few months ago my friend introduced me to The Secret and told me to read it. At first I dismissed her, but she later convinced me to read it in my own time. She told me of the way she had attracted her new job, but I did not believe her.
Once I took the book and read it, immediately it occurred to me that I had been attracting all these bad and negative things, and since I had always imagined my husband as a monster and always thought bad things and never at one time a nice thing about him, I knew I had attracted everything.
I sat down and wrote how sweet, kind, loving, respectful, and caring my husband was. I would even sit down and be happy that I have received a text from him saying how sorry he is for hurting me and that he loved me and wanted to work things out.
At first I felt disappointed as it did not happen immediately as I would have expected. Then I started doing affirmations and believing that it has happened and being happy. Guess what? The Secret really worked he actually sent me a text saying how sorry he was, that he is getting himself together and that he is changing to be a brand new husband.
I am so grateful for The Secret. I am now working on getting a new job, a car, and a business on the side. Will keep you posted.
Please, no matter what the situation is, never give up and have faith.
