If we ever meet again

Philadelphia, PAI'm 19 years old. :)
I have been reading The Secret for about two years now, and I try as hard as I possibly can to live it in every single aspect of my life. I have lost weight with it, found friends with it, become an overall more positive happy person with it, but this story was the most obvious and insane example of just how powerful it can really be.
I was in the car with my mom, on our way to MD to visit my grandparents. I was finding that in the few weeks prior to this visit, I was losing sight of The Secret. I hadn’t brushed up on it in quite some time (since Id normally flip through and read bits and pieces to keep myself in check) and found myself being negative. I was simply just not as happy or as positive as I had been in the past, so I took the time in the car to re-read the book.
I got to a certain page, where it told me to start with something small. It said to think of a friend that you haven’t seen in however long, and the gist of it was that if you thought about them and wanted to have some sort of communication with them, you would.
I read this and thought of my friend Megan. I hadn’t seen Megan since I lived in MD when I was about 4, but we were best friends at one point in my life. I thought of her, and how I missed her, and I wondered how she was, and thought of her family (who my mom still keeps in touch with via Christmas cards).
Anyway, I did this and then forgot about it. I thought of her, ‘knew’ I would have some sort of communication with her, in the near future, and let it go.
Not an hour and a half later, as we are driving through Maryland, my mom, out of LITERALLY nowhere, suggests we pay Megan and her family a visit. You must understand, my mother is possibly the least spontaneous / most incredibly shy person that I know. For her to suggest such a random act, as to visit this family who we haven’t seen in roughly 15 years, unannounced, was the most outrageous thing I had ever heard. Not only that, but Megan and her family and my grandparents dont even live near each other, and to visit her and her family would be roughly an hour out of our way.
Long story short, I saw Megan and her entire family that day. So many things had to go my way for this to happen. Not only did some crazy powerful force have to work its way into my mom’s mind, but they had to be home as well. It turns out, that on any other weekend but this one, Megan and her brother would be working at camp, and the parents would be at work as well. For whatever reason, however, on this particular weekend everyone was home.
I will never forget this experience, because it felt like the most blatant slap in the face that The Secret is more real and more powerful than I had ever known. The lack of faith I was experiencing was eliminated that day. I now KNOW more than ever that this is a real force, and I will never ever lose sight of that fact again.
