Ever since I watched the movie The Secret I have practiced the parking space desire. Living in busy Silicon Valley, I always used to face parking problems and spend lots of money on parking tickets, but not anymore. Yesterday was the greatest proof I ever needed to convince my wife that it works every time.
It was 4th of July afternoon and we wanted to go to the famous Sikh temple on top of the hill to watch fireworks in the valley. We started late, around 8:15pm, and by the time we reached the temple at about 8:30, we noticed more than 3000 people there and the parking lot was totally full. Its a large temple and they have a huge parking lot but it was full. Cars were everywhere; on the street, on the side walk, everywhere. My wife said there was no way we could get a parking space. I just politely said that I might have to wait two minutes maximum.
I drove to the first parking space in front of the temple that is usually used by the temple officials. My wife said, You think your LOA will get us a parking space here? No way! You could have tried your LOA at the last parking lot down the hill. I smiled and waited about 30 seconds and suddenly I noticed a family with three kids coming towards our car. My wife again said, I know what you are thinking; they are not going out. They could only be going to their car to get something. The fireworks have not started yet and the kids are not going to go back home without watching the fireworks. To her surprise all of them got inside the car and in less than a minute left the parking lot, giving us the space we needed to park our car.
On the 4th of July a family that came to enjoy the fireworks in the first place left early before the show even got started is something I still did not understand. Why did they leave? Did they have any emergency? Did they forgot something and went home to get it? Or something else?
I do not know, but all I know that my parking space LOA works all the time.
I will try LOA in something bigger now.
