Santa Cruz, CAI want to share two of my favorite short-cuts to using the Secret. The first one is to combine visualizing and feeling good about what you are asking for with doing something active – especially something that makes you sweat! Running, biking, swimming, or even just strolling quietly with a loved one or loved pet are great ways to get your body on the high energy frequency and to add more powerful surges of energy to your thoughts. I often prefer to run on a treadmill so that I can unfocus my eyes a bit and really go into my imagination- without having to worry about tripping over anything in my path! As I get hotter and feel the surges of adrenaline in body, I feel more and more excited about the wonderful things that I know are coming to me, and I feel an intense gratitude for the physical sensations of my body and my mind.
The second short-cut is a little more mellow, but is great for times when you can listen to the Secret audiobook, like on the way to work. I made a playlist with all of my favorite pump-me-up songs and inserted them in between segments of the Secret audiobook at random so that while listening to the book I would suddenly have a surprise burst of very exciting music that I loved. The combination of moving words and music just added to my sense of love of the world and gratitude for the unexpected gift. It’s also fun to see the little jokes that happen when a piece of the book and a song are randomly put together, like when the book introduced the next speaker, “Joe Vitali:” and instead of Joe’s voice came the very goofy song “It’s a Livin’ Thing” by Electric Light Orchestra (Vita=Life=Livin’, get it?)! This happened to me many times and always made me laugh, which only sped more good things to me.
I have absolutely brought my perfect partner to me, created perfect jobs out of nowhere, and countless other good things using these additions to the great Secret- try it!
