Daughter of a teacher
Submitted by: Kimberly Edmondson
P.O.Box 3603 Coeur D AleneMy name is Kimberly, I was born in San Jose, My father was a School teacher in Southern Cal. I am forty-nine yrs. Old. Lived in Napa Ca.
This year in November I moved to Coeur d Alene. I had been wanting to move for a long time, lived in Napa twenty-2 yrs. and I loved it when I moved to Napa. But something said time was up. I thought it would be to Catalina Island or Cambria Ca that I would move to. It was so close to the ocean yet close to Mt. for hiking.
What kept happening was a dream of a lake or a river where there was a divide, and I kept asking how can get to this other side.
My niece came to visit, and I was without a job, and she said that there was work in Coeur d Alene. When I finally moved here on Nov. 2 (my brothers birthday) I had three people house me, and more people help me. This was the friendliest place to be at.
My tire went flat, and someone helped me with no charge. I was so grateful. Three days later, I was driving my car up an icy road, but my tires wouldn’t carry me any farther. There was a woman with a cell phone who called a towing service to help me and I had no clue how I was going to pay him for his services. When he came out he laughed at my imprint in the snow all in curves, and how I got myself stuck in the ditch. Mr. Knight in Shining Tow truck pulled me out of my predicament shook my hand and said, Merry Christmas – it’s on me.
God has been with me on this journey the whole time, and has taught me that it is the knight without a face, everything I have ever needed has shown up at a momentum of speed.
I live on a lake , and there are houses I have wondered how will I ever get across?
