I had recently seen The Secret, and it blew my mind. I felt like the world and everything that had happened to made so much sense. At the time that I saw it I had just graduated high school, which at that time was a big accomplishment for me. See, what I thought back then was that school was hard and that it was meant to be hard, so I gave up. I was tired of stressing out because I couldn’t understand something, and I couldn’t take getting a failing grade when everyone else did great. It was unfortunate I didn’t know The Secret, and that my mindset was, “I can never be the 100 student I wanted to be – it’s too hard for me to understand.” My average for my entire high school career was a 75, and that was me trying hard.
When it came time for college I didn’t know what I wanted to be, I just knew I wanted to work with my hands and be an engineer of some sort. So I sent applications to all these schools like Cooper Union, Buffalo, St. Francis, even Brooklyn College as a back up. Once the letters started coming in I was so upset… one after the other said, “I’m sorry,” or, “Unfortunately.” Every school but St. Francis college and Kingsboro Community College declined me.
It was when I had received my only acceptance letters that The Secret found its way into my life. I started using it in little ways, for example, I started manifesting finding money, and money would appear. At work I would use The Secret to know what customers were going to order (I know it sounds weird, but hey, it works).
Then school started, and I was so excited. I knew I was going to be the A student that I always wanted to be. So I did what I saw everyone else was doing when it came to school and The Secret – I printed a report card and wrote A’s next to all of my classes. But that’s not all that did it for me. I would also walk into class every day and say to myself, “Today’s lesson is going to be easy and I understand everything.” And it was! I started getting 90’s and 100’s. When I would go to study I would say and BELIEVE that I knew everything that would be on the test, and that it was simple and easy and I understood everything. Then when it was time for the test the first thing I would do is write the grade I wanted to get, like a 97 or a 100, on top of the paper. Then, as I would go through the questions, I would put a check on every question. Once I got the test back what I sent out to the universe had been sent back to me.
In my second semester I decided to transfer to a better school. Not any school, MY SCHOOL! I decided to apply to NYU-POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY. I think it’s safe to say the best engineering school in the world, lol, but really. So I applied and even printed up my an acceptance letter and put the NYU-POLY logo on it. Two weeks later I was IN!!! (Happiest day of my life so far).
I remember when I told my Guidance Counselor my High School GPA, and than my College GPA (which at the time was a 3.75), he was so shocked and his jaw literally dropped. He was amazed, and I had never been more proud of myself. As of now my GPA is a 3.875, and I know I will get a 4.0.
Now I am manifesting a full paid scholarship, to the point where NYU-POLY will pay me to go there and I will graduate top of my class and become an electrical engineer.
I learned that it is always good to end with a quote, because someone has already said it better than you ever could: “All you need to know is not what has happened to you, but what will happen for you.” – ME
THANK YOU TO THE SECRET AND GOD!!!! I am now the man I have always wanted to be, and I’m just getting started!!!!!!!!!!!!
