Receiving in less than a week

Canada26 year old female, University student at MUN
Recently in my life I have been working and trying to save money before I head back for another year of university in September. Months ago I had come across this amazing perfume. I fell in love with the scent and tried to find reasonable ways I could buy/afford it. It is a fairly expensive perfume, and as a student I had taught myself that these luxuries have to wait. I kept saying to myself, as soon as I have the money, I’m going to buy that perfume. Months and months went by, and I kept saying, when I have the money… once I get enough money…
I had never heard of “The Secret” until several weeks ago when my mother started telling me about this book and video she had recently ordered online. I became so intrigued by what she had described that I finally found this site and watched The Secret for myself. While I watched the movie, I had an epiphany. I had known of the Secret, without realizing I knew it. I just didn’t know how to apply it properly in my life. After watching the movie, I began to realize what I was doing wrong, and so I made corrections. I began saying things like, I have that perfume, it is mine, it’s already done. I envisioned myself with it, holding it, spraying it. I had a sample of it and wore it as if I owned the largest bottle available. I also had found an advertisement and cut it out to place onto my vision board (which was under construction).
More importantly, I began to consistently think on a daily basis of all the things I was grateful for… and wrote them down. I consciously tried to keep positive thoughts, and ward away the negative. Although I wasn’t perfect, I did find it to be incredibly easy. Almost natural.
Within less than a week, I had my perfume. Not only that, but I didn’t pay a cent for it.
The place in which I work sells the perfume, and they offer a points card. This card allows you to redeem so many dollars worth of merchandise after collecting so many points. Despite having collected these points for years and years,
I did not have enough points to pay for my perfume. Not even close.
Yesterday I went shopping there, and they were having a special on points redemption (which I was completely unaware of up until this point), allowing you to redeem 50% more than your current points level. It was more than enough to cover the expense of the perfume. I even had a little extra left over to get myself a facial cleanser that I’ve desperately needed and have gone without for a while now.
So, I got the perfume I wanted, plus more. And it cost me absolutely nothing! It’s as if things just perfectly aligned to deliver what I already knew to be mine.
As a believer in God, I see Him as the Universe and provider of this Secret. And so all of my thanks and gratitude goes to Him.
And now my Mom cannot wait to get her book and DVD! We are now making what I call our ‘gratitude boards’.
