The Key

Los Angeles, CAI like to play music (keyboards and drums) and always appreciate laughter in my life. I've been married for about 8 years and have three children. Working for a top home improvement store, and my website is sometimes stressful, but I still find time to relax and stay as positive as possible.
A few months ago in May 2008, my wife and I started to read The Secret. She knew about this book about a year before and never thought much about it. Id never heard of the book before, nor did I know about how the Law works. But one day my wife had been watching Oprah, and the episode was about The Secret. I was at work that day, so she told me about that episode when I got home that night. Later that week we went to Target, and the book was on sale. It was the last book on the shelf. But the funny thing was that my wife was looking for the book in the book department, and found the last one in the cleaning supplies department.
Well, naturally we started to read the book that night, very slowly, and for the next rest of that week. We started to practice what we read. This book impressed me. It made me feel like I was opening another part of my life that I did not knew existed. My wife felt the same way (a little), until this night we were coming back from the store. We started talking about the book some more and I forget how the subject of her not having a key to get in the apartment came up. However, it did. She said the key broke in the lock and she did not have one to get in the lobby door. I said well, I wish you would get a new key, and she said, I wish I would too. She asked me if I could get one made at my job, and I said surely, but did not really want to do it.
When we pulled into the parking lot of our apartment it was unusually dark, and another car had just drove by us. We had a few bags in our hands and since I was the only one with a key, started toward the door first so I could open it. Well, to our surprise, there was a brand-new key in the lock, and the key was not on a key ring. It was sitting in the lock waiting for us. We looked at each other, and she got a little dizzy when I said, the Secret works.
