Never Give Up.

I left my first job in 2012 because I was unhappy.
Perhaps, I should have stayed, but I decided it was better for me to leave. I never had any regrets. I felt extremely happy. I needed to find a new job so I could start paying my school loans. I kept applying for applications every time there was an opportunity. I also had a couple of interviews, but I didn’t get hired. I felt disappointed. I still had hope that I will get another job no matter how long it took.
One of my mother’s friends heard about a job fair at a grocery store, so I filled out an application. When I went to the store, I didn’t know I was going to be interviewed. I was very nervous the whole time. The hiring manager told me that she understands how I felt. I smiled. After I left the place, I knew I did well despite the nervousness. I kept talking to my friends and family about the interview. They all supported me. I said, “Thank you” to them.
I needed to check my email daily to see if I got the job. To my surprise, there was an email waiting for me. I read it and I couldn’t believe my eyes! I had to do an online background check. I cried. I thought this was a joke or something. I completed the background check and waited the next day. When I signed into my account, there was another email!
I read it and now I’ll be working soon! I told all my friends and they congratulated me!
I thought the interesting thing was that I had gotten rejected the first time when I applied there. I reapplied there again. This time I got hired! Don’t ever give up on your goals! It might take time, but it’s worth the wait! Be patient!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Rhonda!
