It Really Works!

Strawberry, AZI raised 4 children of my own and fostered 7 more. My life has been very eventful, I have escaped death many times, so I am presently writing my life story for my children, grandchildren and greats.
I just happened to watch Oprah the second day she talked about The Secret Movie. I was very interested and wanted to hear what had gone on the day before, so began asking everyone I knew if they had recorded the Oprah show the day before. When I asked my friend Sue, she said she had the movie and she let me borrow it.
Already I was “attracting”!
I watched that movie twice a day for two weeks and learned something new every day. After 2 weeks I had to give her movie back because she was moving. I went right out and bought my own, as well as the book and the CD’s for my car.
The first thing I put into my life was “The Attitude of Gratitude”. I made a little book every month and started writing at least 5 things every day that I was thankful for. I have a 5 year collection of those little books. They are such fun to read and see what I was grateful for on a given day. I even made them for other people to encourage them to keep a record of what they were thankful for so their life could improve.
One morning a little deer jumped out into the road. I hit it and trashed the front of my car, lights, hood and windshield. I decided to come up with a positive statement to keep deer and elk off the road so I wouldn’t have another accident. I started with “I am grateful the elk don’t get in the road” but that was not totally positive, so I kept refining my statement until I ended up with “I am grateful all the animals stand beside the road eating grass and watching me drive by”.
That has worked for several years now. I see whole herds of Elk but they are always standing beside the road watching me drive by, and I always tell them “thank you”.
I use that same system to always have a place to park, right in front of whatever business I go to. That is such a fun thing to be able to do, and I always say “Thank You”.
If someone is tailgating my car, I look at them in the rear view mirror and say “Thank you for being a safe driver and following me at a safe distance”. It takes about 10 seconds for that message to go out to the universe and come back, but it always works. I love being able to do that, and keep reminding myself that I can attract that kind of positive power in all areas of my life by simply staying in a receptive frame of mind.
I am so grateful for The Secret and the many positive changes it’s made in my life.
