Finally A Job Worthy Of Me.

Portugal22 year old girl, having fun and enjoying life in all its magnificence.
Hello!
First of all, I’d like to thank Rhonda Byrne and the whole Secret Team for revealing this knowledge to the world. It has made such a difference in my existence, for the better! Thank you.
It is June, and I was working in a call center since last December. It was a part-time job, with no work contract, but the salary was OK, not good, just OK. I worked all days except on Sundays, holidays included. I didn’t have a right to miss a day, even if I was ill, otherwise they would reduce my salary. And whenever there was a national holiday we could stay home for, they would discount that day in our salary. But I really loved my workmates, so I was fine with it.
In April my boss invited me to work on mornings in his new telemarketing agency, while still keeping the other call center job in the afternoons. It was only on weekdays as he was really needing employees. I thought maybe I could make some extra money, even though this job didn’t even have a salary as I received according to my sales.
But the morning job was so exhausting and my boss was so insensitive towards us, always complaining about results, even though all the team did it’s best. All I wished for was a job in which I could feel financially safe to start saving to afford a new car, house rent and trips, because I love to travel and I hadn’t been able to do that in years.
And, suddenly, the universe began to create a way for my wish to come true.
Every day I traveled to work by train. There was a woman in the train that I always saw on my way back home, who I would sometimes say hi to. She was my classmate in a professional course I took last year. She is in her forties and always looks so elegant. At the time we were attending the course sessions we were both unemployed, but at the moment I could tell she was currently employed, and probably in a nice company.
One day the train was very full, and as I walked in, people started to push one another and I found myself right next to her. That was when we finally had a conversation.
She told me she was working at one of the two main telecommunication companies in the country. She said she was very pleased with her new job, and informed me about a recruiting process that was going on for one of the call-center positions. It was a great job, with a work contract, a salary that was triple what I was earning and with social security contributions. I thought that was the universe giving me a sign! She told me to send her my CV as soon as possible because she was afraid the recruiting process might be almost over. So, that same night I sent her my CV and she forwarded it to the director.
Later on, she told me she had sent my CV but it wasn’t soon enough for that recruiting process. However, she said there was going to be another one in two to three weeks time, so there was still hope. I always believed the job was mine, so I was calm and did my best at my current job, safe in the knowledge that my life was about to change soon.
And it did!
One Friday morning the recruiting company called me, telling me to attend a job interview on the next Monday. The universe was so perfect that it made them call me in the morning, because in the afternoons I would be working (I had already quit the morning job) and there was a risk I couldn’t answer the phone. My friend had warned me that when you don’t answer the first time they only call you back months later, whenever they need to recruit again.
The interview went well, they said call center experience was something I had in my favor, so I rested my head and knew, just knew, I was going to be called for the position. They said they would call us (me and the other applicants) the following Wednesday or Thursday, to begin the professional training the following week to come. And the training was already going to be paid.
Guess what??!!
They called me today (Wednesday) early in the morning, and I am going to start the professional training next Monday at the company offices downtown!!
I woke up earlier than I expected and I was having trouble falling asleep again, but you know what?
It was the universe keeping me awake because it knew I was about to get called for my dream job. I was so happy that I started screaming as soon as I hung up the call, and I frightened my family, ha ha!
I had so much faith I was going to get a new life that I began writing this story at lunch break the following day I talked to my friend at the train, when I was still working in those two call center jobs. Today, in the afternoon, I am going to tell my supervisor that I won’t be working there anymore from next Monday on, and I believe she and the director are going to understand my motivation and pay me my salary for this last month of work.
So, for those of you who, like me, are unhappy with your professional life, do not feel discouraged by your current situation. Ask for the life you want, search for other jobs and always, always, always believe what you want is on it’s way to become yours!
