Ask For Questions You Want To Be Asked!

I am a quick learner.
But before two exams one time, I over estimated my skills and started to study too late, only 2 hours before getting to bed, just a night before exams. In the morning I was horrified at how little I learned.
An oral exam awaited me in an hour. My friend told me she likes one question from the list we were given. It sparked an idea and I decided to learn 3 questions by heart and forget the others. I focused on them solely. My strategy was to talk a lot so that professor wouldn’t try to ask about something else.
I had no guarantee, but it worked!!!!
Just those three questions! I got an A!
Two hours later I had second oral exam and also chose my questions. One basing on my interest and general knowledge of the topic and second, just because I ran into my colleague who actually had a presentation about it.
Guess what?
Once more I was asked only questions I wanted to be asked and got an A.
And my friends?
Those who stressed a lot got asked only questions they feared most.
