A Promise Is A Promise!
Submitted by: Inspiration from the Universe
New Delhi, IndiaI have gone from being a worrisome, confused and angry teenager to a happy lady with a great friends circle, family life, career and love.
I made a promise to myself and the Universe that I would write this post once I got my Rs. 30,000.
I got the money.
And I am here to honor my promise.
So my story goes like this. I needed Rs. 29,050 to pay off a bill that had suddenly appeared and I didn’t pay it for months. To be honest, I didn’t have that kind of cash and whatever little I got from my pay, I’d spend on one thing for myself every month because I wanted to treat myself.
The reminders kept coming and I’d push them aside out of dread.
Then I re-read The Magic for the second time this year, and I was thankful for all the bills I had managed to pay and the services that I had been provided out of trust from the company that I’d pay them for it. In my wish list, I wrote, “Thank you for Rs. 30,000 to pay off my bill in one go.” I didn’t want small bits from here and there, nor did I want to give installments. Later I learnt that they didn’t allow me to anyway, so I wished well.
A notice came 2 weeks ago saying they would strike me off the membership if I didn’t pay. My sister was with me when it came, and I had been hiding it from her all along. She looked at it and calmly said, “Don’t worry. We’ll pay it off before the due date.” 🙂
Today my mom went with the cheque and cleared my outstanding bill of 6 months. And I have been saved my membership!
Thank you to my dear sister for your generosity, you’re the hero of my life!
Thank you Rhonda Byrne and all the wonderful researchers and teachers of this good faith! You are all evolved saints and messiahs.
Thank you to everyone who has ever written a story of inspiration and success on this website and any other book published. You have all uplifted the spirits of the wary and given the gift of hope.
Thank you for my faith. You are my best friend!
I would now like to repay my sister and I am most certain I will.
