From Hopeless To Unwavering Confidence
Submitted by: Christina
New Hampshire, USA23 year old recent college graduate living a beautiful and happy life.
I recently graduated from college in May 2013 and started a career that requires a series of examinations to be passed in order to achieve a professional designation.
With this designation, which takes most people 5-7 years to obtain, your earning potential increases dramatically, as you get a raise for each exam passed. I began taking my exams during my sophomore year in college and though I knew they would be hard, I was not prepared for the reality that I was about to face.
Over the course of 7 months, I took the first exam in the series 3 times and failed all three of them. I had put in countless hours of studying and had forgone many social outings with friends and family to devote my time to preparing for this exam. After failing for the third time, I truly felt hopeless. I thought I was never going to pass, and started to consider changing my career path which means changing my major.
Before I took any drastic action, however, my mom told me I should read The Secret.
I wasn’t really a believer in the power of the mind so I doubted it would help, but I was so desperate to pass this exam that I agreed to try it out. After reading the book, I realized that my lack of confidence in myself and my knowledge each time I had sat for the exam was what had caused me to fail.
All of a sudden, I had hope! By changing my outlook on the exam, I knew I could pass!
I started to write in a vision journal, and wrote over and over “Thank you for my passing score!” I made a congratulations letter for myself that looked just like the one that shows up on the computer screen at the end of the exam that tells you whether or not you’ve passed. I envisioned nothing but success from then until the day of the exam, and went into the test feeling not nervous, but excited!
Just as I had planned, I passed my exam right there that day.
This confirmed for me that the LOA is real and is the most powerful tool that we have at our disposal! A few months later, I used The Secret to pass my second exam in the series after only studying for about 8 weeks. I knew this was all I needed because I knew that I was going to pass every exam I took from now on.
Now, about a year and a half later, I am still using the LOA. I just took my third exam about two weeks ago and although I have not gotten the official results yet. I am positive that I passed. I am so sure, that I even started studying for my fourth exam, which I will be taking in the beginning of March.
I will keep going until I have passed all 10 exams, which I plan on having finished in the next 3 years. I am more confident and happy than ever, and am loving life more than ever. Everyone around me is happy, and the positive energy is contagious.
I wish everyone the best in all of your endeavors, nothing is impossible!
Thank you Rhonda and The Secret Team, you are all heroes!
