Impossible Is Nothing

Bogota, ColombiaColombian lawyer living the dream.
I had learned about The Secret about three or four years ago, and used it on counted occasions. Unfortunately, I had let go of it once I achieved a thing or two.
However, last December changed my life completely.
My parents and I went through a terrible emotional crisis, I had no choice but to resign the job I was at due to a nervous breakdown. I was drowning in debt and little by little, everybody started walking away.
Besides looking every day for a job, I tried everything. Assisting to different churches, congregations, spiritual healing, numerology, but felt something was missing. I wasn’t quite getting it, and still no answers were given.
I knew what I wanted, but had no idea how to manifest it: I wanted a new job at one particular place, and was obsessed by it. Time went by, but still no job, relations were still haywire, I was feeling miserable and wanted to end it all.
Fortunately, I started reading The Secret, then listened to The Power audio book, and then started doing The Magic exercises, and I realized on my experience that the problem was not the places I was attending or the answers I was looking for.
The problem was inside me. I did NOT believe I could get the things I had dreamed of.
So I started feeling it, believing it, never doubting. And it is quite difficult because the main thought was “Ok I can do what is possible for me, but what about what is far from my reach, like the perfect job opportunity?” Well, I decided to leave it in the hands of the Universe; letting go, surrender and letting go of the burden of my problems inside my head and trusting my God.
In time, miracles happened, one after the other.
After five months without a job and dozens of interviews at any type of conceivable positions, I was called for an interview at one of the most prestigious law firms in the city, and in one week they made me a job offer I simply could not refuse. I am performing the duties I used to do at a law firm I worked at before and was very happy at, and learning so much more now. I enjoy wonderful work installations and amazing workmates, transportation is easy, and I feel blessed and thankful every day. Salary is very good too, but most importantly I enjoy work, it’s environment and how well instructed we are inside in order to perform our best!
Family is back and together after December’s crisis and we’re making our best efforts to be happy and united every day. Even though our little Luna, a Schnauzer angel, passed away, we have an amazing chocolate Labrador called Choco that blesses us with his company every day. My relation with my mother is better than ever and my father and I are getting along better each day.
Relationships with my friends are better than ever, studies are also doing great, I feel blessed. And even though my life is not perfect and there are many things that still need some work, present circumstances have kept my head high and motivated, and what’s most important, reconnected my relation with my Supreme Being. I choose to believe, and create upon it.
My story is about overcoming difficulties, and most of all, about believing. It is not over yet, but it has taken a twist so to speak, in order to make it a happy and inspirational one.
I want to not only thank every single person who has made this knowledge possible, but also give a tip or two:
– First one would be, be grateful, even for the smallest thing, every time possible, in your life. Make it, not a chore, but a reason to feel better, happy, and attract more.
-Create a vision board and/or write your desires. I did this as “letters to God” and made my own vision board. Months after receiving what I did, I was in shock after going back and observing what I had written and posted. I related my experience to that of John Assaraf in The Secret movie/book. Just do it, and act upon it. Let your dreams dig deep inside your subconscious.
-Discuss the subject. I joined a Facebook group called “Sharing The Secret”, and started debating ideas with tons of people. (Special thanks to Ajay Mishra, Sanjeev Srivastava, Kellie Allen Purgai, Jaya Believer, so many others)
-Learn about inspirational stories: For instance, I started reading about Nick Vujicic story, which is a great inspiration for me. Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” also has different personal situations that are miraculous so to speak. Life of Pi film was very motivating too.
Well, I could write until no end, but I want to keep it short and motivate all of you who read this. Don’t ever give up in your dreams and make them come true. Lots of blessings, thanks to God, my family, concerned friends -special regards to Manchai and Dania here- and life itself.
Regards and tons of blessings,
Juanse
