Money Magnet

Baltimore, MDSingle mother of two trying to provide a life of quality for myself and my children.
So, we were in financial crisis. Not going to go into specifics because I don’t want to bring those feelings back. But, when I was at my lowest point, and couldn’t see or imagine a way out, something happened that turned my life around.
I am in sales, and drive a lot. Lately I had seen the same homeless man for several days in a row. On this particular day it was pouring down rain so hard I could barely drive. As I passed this man in the morning, my heart hurt for him. I passed him again on the way home, 8 hours later. Still pouring down rain. He was soaked to the core.
I decided that I could manage to spare $10 or so to stop and buy this man some food, Gatorade and water. So I did. And I delivered it to him in the pouring rain, getting soaked in the 30 seconds it took to get out and hand it to him. I was so thankful to get back into my car, out of the rain.
And it dawned on me just how much I truly had!!!! A car that ran, a home that provides shelter, food in the fridge, electricity to keep us warm and cool. Healthy, beautiful children that adore me. Family that helps when ever necessary. Friends that care and money in my pocket. On and on, and on. He Called me an “Angel” and thanked me.
But to this day, I thank him, and consider him my “Angel” because, my gratitude has totally turned our financial situation around. My sales are second highest in the region. I have quadrupled my income. Money just comes to us and there are no words to describe how amazing this feels. Remember, no matter how bad you have it, it could always be worse.
I am so thankful for my Angel.
