WOW! Amazing! Thank you! I have so many beautiful words to use in describing LOA! Thank you Rhonda and everyone out there who has shared your story.
It has taken me over a year to finally get it, but it was so worth the fight in my head over this stuff. I started with The Secret, then The Power, then many other books on the subject (including my Bible), then I kept repeating The Secret and The Power. Finally I found the “Science to Getting Rich” on the website, and now I am carrying around The Secret again to refer to anytime I am inspired.
To be honest, it took me several blows in the face with negative manifestations, to finally get it. Things I have worried about in the past, all hit me at once (in one week to be exact). I think the hardest part for me was to give up the idea that God (my higher power) wants us to suffer or learn lessons and that perhaps I wasn’t doing something right. Yet, when I looked around, I could see that there were people doing the same job as me, yet seemed not to worry about money at all. I couldn’t understand why “bad” things happened to “good” people. So, finally when I believed that God was part of all of us and everything, was I finally able to grasp it.
This hit me fast too. When I started noticing that when I was thinking about something really hard, my young kids (6 & 8) would suddenly say something that totally correlated with what I was thinking. If I was thinking about God, they came to me asking about God. If I was thinking good thoughts, one would suddenly sing the School Victory song…. So this is how it came to me that God is part of all of us, and is this energy that knows all and creates all.
Once I finally understood this stuff, I realized that I have an awesome energy field and I can create anything. Anytime I am thinking something, the words will be echoed back to me in a commercial on TV, a song on the radio, someone walking by, etc. I was trying to prove this to my husband, so I sat him down in front of the TV and said say two words, any words you want. He said “mexican food”. We looked at the TV and the next scene was a Chinese man eating food. My husband quickly pointed out that wasn’t the same thing.
Well, we went out to eat shortly after this to a local Mexican restaurant. Five minutes into our meal, a family with a Chinese foreign exchange student sat down right next to us! All I could do was giggle and my husband is in awe!
I work in a small hospital and I so find it fun to walk around and see how so many people that work in the same departments all felt the same energy when getting up this morning. This caused them all to dress in the same colors even though they have no dress requirement.
