The perfect amount

Langley, BCFirst year University student.
I am currently a first year University student here in Canada. During the first semester I was commuting to and from school because I only lived 20 minutes away from the campus. I don’t have my license or my own car yet so I carpool with a friend. This seems fine but I would have to accommodate my schedule with hers.
I had decided to live on campus for the next semester but my student loan is only enough for the whole year of my tuition. My parents couldnt afford $4000 right away.
I prayed to God every night that there would be a way for me to live on campus and I keep telling myself that I am a money magnet. I thanked God lots of times and visualized living in one of the dorms. I had seen what they looked like which helped me to visualize vividly.
Then one day when I arrived home after school my Mom told me that I received a letter. When she showed me I just saw the words Congratulations, $2000 and Nursing Bursary Award. I began jumping up and down and crying
The day before I received that letter, I got an e-mail from our school advertising the housing grant for 2011. It claimed that whoever is chosen for this award will only have to pay $2000 for the spring semester including the meal plan and parking pass. Then I thought to myself, I think that God is talking to me.
So I composed my own essay, submitted it, kept my faith and waited. The e-mail said they would announce the winner on Friday but then Friday passed and I didnt receive anything. To be honest, I did have a moment where I almost lost faith but I didnt let myself give up and kept believing I was going receive that award. I mean, I had received $2000 and now someone was offering to pay $2000 for my lodging. I thought God really does have a plan for me.
Several days later I received an e-mail back from them saying that I am one of the recipients of this award! As soon as I read those words I quickly thanked the Lord. He is always there to provide for me in times of need.
So I just want to give you assurance that God is always there to help you. Don’t give up. Visualize and believe that you are going to receive anything you want. God bless!
