Everything I ever Wanted
Submitted by: TDK
Boston, MAI was about 11 years of age when I found out about the Law of Attraction. At first, the idea seemed a little silly but then I decided to give it a try. I told myself that I was going to Harvard and I was going to meet the perfect guy for me. At age 11, this all seems something pretty dumb to think about but I was a very introspective person and I really cared about my future.
So I started to plan out my whole life. I planned on what type of house I was going to have, what type of job, how much money I would have and most importantly what kind of person I was going to meet. I told my parents and my friends about some of my ambitions such as going to Harvard and being rich, but no one really paid attention to me and if they did, they would tell me that none of that was ever going to happen. Still I worked hard and I thought about what I wanted everyday. I truly believed in everything, but every time someone said something negative to me my faith and hopes for the future dropped. I worked hard in school while everyone called me an over-achiever. It hurt a lot but I told myself to keep going.
I thought about the guy I wanted, pictured him, gave him the qualities I wanted, and thought about how I was going to meet him and how we were going to get married. Imagining became a daily thing in my life. Then one day in my senior year, my high school principal called me into his office. I was really scared, because I did not know what I did wrong. I walked into his office and he told me that I was in really big trouble. I got really scared now, and he told me to go sit down in his office and talk to a man that was inside. I was in there for about 30 minutes and when I came out I was shocked. I just got a Harvard Scholarship! I was the happiest person in the world, and when I told my parents they were shocked too.
As soon as I was done with High School, I went straight to Harvard. Everything was going great. I got everything ready and I told myself I was not going home till I became an architect, my dream job. Then came the first day at Harvard, and you can guess what happened. I saw him. I noticed him right away, because he looked exactly how I imagined him. OK, now I was seriously the happiest person in the world! It was love at first sight for him. He naturally came up to me at that first sight and started a conversation. We clicked and I knew for sure that he was the one. I’m pretty sure you know the story after that. We got into a deep relationship, we both graduated, he proposed to me, we got married, he started his own business, got kids, we became pretty rich, and we lived in my dream house that I designed. I got everything I ever wanted and I knew for sure that my over- achieving actually paid off because everyone who made fun of my ambitions would now be regretting it. I didn’t really feel sorry for them because when I was trying to help them open their eyes to this Power, no one listened.
So dream, believe and never make fun of the “nerds”, because chances are they will be your boss. Go out there and plan how you want your life because you WILL end up with everything you ever wanted.
